Jenni Asher
Jenni Asher is a California native educated in London, England. She holds a Bachelors in violin performance from the Royal Academy of Music, and a Masters in Music Leadership from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She also plays piano, erhu, and sings jazz. Her albums "Yaladati," "London," and “Freedom” (which won an Independent Music Award) are available on most online media outlets and http://jenniasher.bandcamp.com. Jenni lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, two small children, and dog. In addition to her teaching studio, she also owns a musicians injury relief and education company Musician Bodywork (www.musicianbodywork.com), and is in a Jewish Music masters program which will culminate in her ordination as a Cantor.

Above is an original, instrumental song that recalls the spiritual abuse from the worldwide church of god. the repeated refrain by the violin has unspoken words that were the kernel of the composition: "what you did to me is unacceptable, and I did what I did to survive." Kavod means heavy, or honor, in Hebrew.
